BRIAN AND MARY INVITE YOU TO EXPERIENCE OUR HOLIDAY OVER THE NEXT  EIGHTEEN  DAYS.

We will travel from Brisbane to Abu Dhabi 03 March  12.20 AM departure, get in at midnight take ride of 100km to Dubai, check in to hotel. Well well next day, will cruze Dubai, stay over another night, leaving in morning back to Abu Dhabi, have full day sucking up the culture, head for airport round 10pm departing to Heathrow UK.

Arrive  Heathrow  6.45 in morning, head for hotel. Get ready for my journey into the past. Having lived in UK for some time, wonder if I will feel at home!  Mares eye’s will be busy taking up this city. Shops make high priority, as do the general ports of call, Westminster Abby, Tower of  London etc. For me Sassoon  salons, as I need new scissors, a dryer, brushes and combs. We will spend 4 days is this gracious city. Heading to the London St Pancreas Station 10/03/2012  to take  train to PARIS.

Arriving in Paris, will be different in experience for both of us, Mare will have a clean mind,  for me many memories here too, be interesting to look at how far I have or have not travelled MMMM. Remember throwing a snow ball from the top of the Eiffel tower and watching it take its time to reach the ground below. We will look to the top tourist sites , The Louvre, as I have developed a small interest in art, the Eiffel for Mare, Versai Palace, Notre Dame and so on. Looking forward to just sitting around in what I remember to be a very romantic city with very different people. 

       Leaving Paris for Rome on 14th March via Air France from Charles De Gaulle Airport should be interesting, decided to take the house limo so we don’t mess up. Arriving in Roma, well well after all these years I get to see where Lygon Street came from! We will be staying in very centre of Rome close to all sites. The Vatican ,need to get blessed and Mare has some issues with the Pope. Colosseum, need to fell like a gladiator, Pantheon, I will just take this in and wonder how! Mare is big on the Trevi Fountain, so I guess we will throw in a few coins. There is so much, so thats enough.

Leave Roma on 18th for Venice, my, my, this I look forward to as Mare does to, her roots are in this area.We stay at the Luna Baglioni  right on the Grand Canal, guess that goes with the territory in Venezia. How good will the Vatoretto (water taxi) be. We travel from the airport in the hotel water taxi hoping it will be a new Riviera, those beautiful timber boats , as only the Italian craftsmen can do. Gondola ride, well who knows, not sure about the romance! What to look at here, I  don’t know, the Island of Burano, Harries Bar, might go to the Doges Palace, and of coarse a water taxi tour. Will definitely sit around St Marks Square, taking gum boots in case its flooded and have a look at the Italians in the real not those fake ones we have in OZ, just joking!

Milano, this has always had fascination for me the fashion capital of the world  Ferrari, Alpha Romeo, back 40 years ago that was fashion and of course since we got married Versace rates at the top for me. Lucky for us we are in the DFO (second shops) area of Milan so hoping to hit the shops here, hope the 48 hours is enough. The shops are in a place call The Duomo, it has a roof you can get on, from here you can welcome the whole city. Depending on how things go, it probably be sad here, as the trip will becoming to an end my my on the other hand I might be counting down the hours to get home. We leave here on the 22nd homeward bound.

Our flight is with Etihad direct to Abu Dhabi short stop over, Back on board and into my bed for the next leg Brisbane. So there you have it, so climb aboard with the two fingers and enjoy our ride.
